No, like the iTunes store and iPhone, it’s another case of US-centric companies launching in the US and then making their way to Canada on their own time. I’m not sure if they’re waiting for Canadian rights on the books, or for Canadian Kindle availability.

I wouldn’t count on them waiting for anything at all, but being simply uninterested. There are a number of amazon.com features that never made it to amazon.ca, and no good reason why not. :)
